WELCOME TO MY WEBSITE!
I am an Associate Professor in Political Science in the Department of Social Sciences at Universidad Carlos III in Madrid and the Academic Secretary of the Carlos III - Juan March Institute. I obtained my PhD at Binghamton University in 2016, where I arrived as a Fulbright grantee. Before moving to Madrid, I was a Max Weber Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Social and Political Science at the European University Institute in Florence.
I am interested in questions of federal political economy and in the theoretical and empirical implications for multilevel elections, political parties, and individuals' political behavior. See a recent interview in the Basque TV on the role of regionalist parties in the 2018 vote of no confidence in Spain. On this website you can find information about my ongoing research, publications, teaching portfolio and CV.
